Kindergarten 5 Program

for the 2024-25 School Year

Full day program

The teacher generally starts each school day with Bible instruction. We focus on academic instruction in phonics and mathematics during AM hours, taking regular breaks to ensure that our students are able to focus on the academic lessons. After lunch, we engage students in extracurricular activities, reading time, additional recess time and review.

The transitional nature of our K5 program includes

  • The introduction of weekly Elementary Chapel as students acclimate to the school year
  • The introduction of student reading groups after Christmas break
  • The phasing out of nap time by the third quarter of the school year

Hands-on activities

Our teacher supplements the academic curriculum with a variety of hands-on activities to develop student fine-motor skills and stimulate social growth in this classroom.
